About Us
Our Story
From a young age Tena knew her passion was teaching. With three kids of her own and a heart for children her career has always involved teaching, helping and working hard to provide opportunities and a safe environment for children to thrive. Tena has been a daycare provider for the last 16 years. State licensed for 13 years. Alongside Tena is Logan. Logan is a mother of two, one and three years old. She has been with Tena's 24 hour daycare for two years. With her she brings eight years of combined experience in childcare, tutoring, nannying, special needs summer camp counseling and two years of child development education. All staff have passed a Michigan background check, and are infant/child CPR, first aid, and safe sleep certified.
Tena's philosophy
Tena's commitment is to develop each child's ability to fulfill their skills and knowledge to achieve their full potential, in an environment that is encouraging with opportunities to learn, share and grow. She strives to provide the best care I can give.
