School Closing Information
When necessary, staff will call parents and guardians to pick up their children due to inclement weather. Announcements regarding school closings and delays will be made on WLEN.
Parent Communication
Tena's 24-Hour Child Care sends a monthly newsletter to ensure you're aware about your child's classroom schedule, activities, field trips, and other items of interest. There is also a parent bulletin board located by the sign-in area where you can view important center information.
Illness Policy
Children presenting a fever, excessive coughing, skin rash, diarrhea, or flu symptoms should not come to school. Please report any contagious illnesses so we can alert others of the symptoms to be aware of. Children must stay home from school for 24 hours with a communicable illness.
Medication Policy
Staff at Tena's 24-Hour Child Care will administer medication if your child's name, medicine name, doctor's name, date, time, and amount to be given is clearly labeled and a medicine chart is filled out in advance.
Meal Information
Our center provides breakfast and two snacks a day. If you prefer to send your child's lunch, you must clearly label the lunch box or bag. Hot or cold lunches are allowed to be sent for your child, as a refrigerator is available to keep lunches cold.
